Dear sir. I have used Kapton for windows. However, Kapton which I used showed a clear scattering peak at a large Q near 0.4 angstrom inverse. If you need the scattering data near Q = 0.4 A^-1, you might use UPILEX (Ube polyimide file, Ube Industries, ltd., Japan) which shows no scattering peak near Q = 0.4 A^-1. Best regards, T.
