Invitation to EPDIC IX and Size-Strain Conferences EUROPEAN POWDER DIFFRACTION CONFERENCE http://www.xray.cz/epdic will take place from September 2 to September 5 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic. It will be preceded by Size-Strain workshop devoted to study of real structure of materials by powder XRD - from August 31 to September 2. DEADLINES: Two important deadlines are on APRIL 30. 1. Deadline for requests for financial assistance (incl. c.v., abstract of contribution) We have financial support from the IUCr for young students (under 30, in maximum 35). 2. Deadline for applications for oral contributions. They must be accompanied by abstracts. This will be basic material for the programme committee. If necessary, the abstracts may be modified later on before June 30. The programme of microsymposia should be put together basically during May.
