Subject: Cost of the Divine/RoweCom affair to ACS

The July 7 issue of Chemical and Engineering News says the cost of the affair
(bankruptcy, non-payment of publishers for journal subscriptions) to the
American
Chemical Society for 2003, will be of the order of $2.5 million. Some of this
may
be recovered later if there is any dividend from the bankruptcy.

responded;
149 responses were valid and included in the analysis.
