See http://www.figaro-europe.net/index2.html?news.html " FIGARO will investigate new business models for scholarly publishing and will stimulate open access to the publications produced and distributed with its infrastructure, making scholarly publishing faster, cheaper and simpler. " The project partners include a.o. SPARC and the Library of the University of Lund in Sweden. A presentation of the project will also be given in Lund (Sweden) at First Nordic Conference on Scholarly Communication that will be held 22-24 October 2002 with last registration day on October 7.
