Domain names

For information, I have today registered the domain names iucr.net and
iucr.info on behalf of the IUCr for a period of five years ending 9 June
2009. This will allow us to use either or both of those names for
web-related activities connected with expansion of our web services into
educational or more broadly-based networking activities.

The iucr.org domain is currently registered until October 2010. I have set
up our account with the domain name registrar to renew the registrations
automatically (5-yearly for iucr.info and iucr.net, 10-yearly for
iucr.org) until further notice.

The "natural" domain names including the word crystallography
(crystallography.com, crystallography.org, crystallography.info,
crystallography.net) remain unavailable.
