Quickish one if people have the time. I will be editing the first Computing Commission newsletter - which will only be distributed on-line as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. (very cheap/costless) Is there an article somewhere or guidelines stating what is a good format for an on-line newsletter - but would look OK if printed out as well. Single column/double column. Type font and size - average words per line. I quite like the IUCr CPD newsletter format (I helped design it) - but this is mainly a printed newsletter where minimizing number of pages is important and I am not sure this (double column)is good for readability on a computer screen.
