http://www.fepproject.org/policyreports/copyright.html This is a long (71 pages) interim report from the Free Expression Policy Project entitled "THE PROGRESS OF SCIENCE AND USEFUL ARTS": WHY COPYRIGHT TODAY THREATENS INTELLECTUAL FREEDOM With a title like that it is not entirely neutral but it is a very comprehensive reference document on the various issues surrounding the DMCA, including the use to which it has been put by various IP interests. It does raise some interesting matters such as the apparent inherent conflict between fair use and circumvention prevention, etc. A worthwhile addition to your library of IPR documents; good material for a train trip or a medium-long flight.
