>From memory - there was a minor discussion a while back on replacing the IUCr listserv software (which is incredibly woeful to use and manage - just my opinion) to something more modern. One possibility used at Birkbeck College is the freeware GPL'd Mailman program: Example of Mailman in action is at: http://mailman.cryst.bbk.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/pps02 Mailman homepage: http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/ ------------- If this looked kosher - what timeframe would be possible to change over to a program like Mailman? An advantage of this would be that the owner of the individual mailing lists would have much more intuitive control to administer things via the web.
