I found this item in the Information Today email alert:
 
A start-up company that audaciously challenged the ISI establishment and
its prestigious Journal Impact Factor for measuring scholarly journal
impact has come and gone in short order, apparently as a result of its
inability to defend itself against a multimillion-dollar lawsuit.

I read the item and was surprised as I hadn't heard anything about it.
Maybe I shouldn't be surprised
as I don't see everything (if I did I would never surface!) and anyway
since the outfit has gone bust
maybe they didn't advertise themselves enough!
 
Anybody any gossip to share on this one??
