I am very reluctant about this Docster idea, not because of copy right but for security reasons. Any IT manager with a minimum sense will never authorize a software such as Napster to run on its network because it is a door widely opened to piracy into individual machines. The simple idea, on the paper, to let others share files on your own computer, is frightening especially on Windows and MacOS systems where the security does not exist. Thus the only acceptable solution would be to put all the documents to be shared on a special machine in the so-called demilitarized area. Then I do not see any difference with a number of suggestions to establish univeristy web servers where papers would be posted. Regards to all and a happy new century!
