* UK E-COMMERCE BILL IMMINENT
The UK Government plans to introduce long-awaited
legislation aimed at making Britain the best
environment in the world for online trade. The legislation
is expected to be called the Electronic Communications bill
and the appointment of an Internet czar or e-envoy is
expected at the end of the summer. (BBC, 25 June 1999)

  Do we know if this affects the IUCr's operations in the UK?
