No: I think the Commission on Journals might be travelling up en bloc from Manchester on that day, which would certainly rule out Peter and possibly me. > Thursday 5th (but at what time is the 'open Comcifs meeting'?) The COMCIFS meeting has booked the time slot 13:00-17:00, although the timings haven't yet been settled. > Friday 6th > Tuesday 10th Tuesday is the excursion day. I'm happy in principle to meet up at some stage, but it's unlikely one could book a room at the conference centre. > Wednesday 11th The day of the eclipse. I have (undoubtedly fanciful) notions of heading off to Bucharest for the day; there's also an Open Commission meeting on teaching booked for lunch hour. But neither of these is essential. So, of those dates, no to 4th and 5th, the others are all possible: perhaps the 6th is preferable. Brian
