mmCIF dictionary version 2 approved

Dear Colleagues

Following recommendation by the Dictionary Review Committee, the voting
members of COMCIFS have unanimously approved the extensions to the mmCIF
dictionary posted last year by the mmCIF management group. The additional
definitions can be viewed at present at the URL
            http://www.iucr.org/cif/mm/cif_mm_delta1.dic 
When these extensions have been merged into the full dictionary, I shall
a new URL for version 2 of the mmCIf dictionary.
